Technology has changed how we fundamentally experience the world.
It has helped us extend our lives, build bigger cities, given us new ways of learning and communicating, and brought billions out of poverty. However, it has also increased the amount we work, added to our overall stress and anxiety, built significant divides in what we see as truth, and destroyed much of our environment we live in. As we struggle to keep up in this ever-changing world, many of us have blindly lost track of the things we value most; genuine human connection, empathy, and purpose. And with the recent emergence of AI and GAI, things have the potential to get even worse.
But all hope is not lost.
Science has proven that the potential for the human spirit is limitless. We have measurably reduced the amount of violence and death at times of war just by meditating. We’ve proven that we can cure ourselves of cancer, heal from debilitating lifelong traumas, and release trapped emotions that often lead to countless chronic ailments and diseases simply by using our hearts and minds. Love, compassion, and joy are contagious and simple acts of kindness change the world every day. And we’re just getting started!
